Hello Everyone,

Great participation this past week in both numbers and fun/spirited comments in answering our trivia question. Post net, a suggestion came my way for the Digital (as I call it Nightcap) Net; Run the net using C4FM in Simplex mode so we can test our equipment out in that condition. My thoughts - Excellent Suggestion! So, I am planning for the Wednesday 26 January Digital Net to be conducted in Simplex. During our upcoming net any questions/comments can brought up; or you can send feedback to me directly at this e-mail address. Again, this is to test our equipment's performance - if we have all participants able to hear each other - or at least Net Control - we can smile and pat ourselves on the back. Permanent Change? I don't know but I think at the least it's good knowledge for us to all have; and we are doing something different with our radios!!

I look forward to seeing you at our Monthly Meeting via Zoom on Tuesday the 18th (notice is going out via Transponder with full details) and hearing you on the Wednesday Night Net(s) January 19 at 7:30 pm local time. Please join with us on our repeater, 445.620 MHz with a standard negative offset and PL tone of 127.3 Hz on both transmit and receive and I am looking forward to hearing from you on our Repeater Net, Simplex Net and Digital 'Nightcap Net' for those so equipped.

Check Ins from this past week shown below.
